MEET FANGS

* cue drum roll *

Introduciiiiiing… Fangs!! Otherwise known to their friends and family as Lisa.

How did Fangs start?

“Fangs was born in March of 2022. My life had been lacking fun and creative flair for a while, until I stumbled upon the concept of tooth gems one lazy Sunday morning.

I’m not sure what else it could be other than fate, but I was immediately drawn to tooth gems and just knew I had to be a part of the industry.

I signed up that very day to an accredited course, took the course a week later, and the rest, as they say, is history!

I’ve now applied tooth gems to hundreds and hundreds of incredible clients.

From starting off in my living room, to then working in multiple salons, to finally opening my own dream studio - the past couple of years have been a total whirlwind and more incredible than I ever could have imagined.

I’ve worked at events all around Scotland, met so many wonderful people, and even made life long friends!

All from one rather spontaneous decision.

It truly is the best thing to ever happen to me.”

Tell me a bit about you?

Okay, buckle in. SO!

I’m 27, from a small town called Paisley, just outside of Glasgow, Scotland.

I have an unusually large, and somewhat excessive, collection of Build A Bear frogs, and a massive weakness for all things Care Bear and Sanrio.

I pretty much always sport bright yellow hair, it’s my favourite colour (and the reason behind Yellow Door Studio), and I am obsessed with being as bright and colourful as possible at all time - again, the reason why my studio is so vibrant!

I am autistic, meaning I will always accommodate for my clients and try to make every appointment as accessible and comfortable as possible!

I have a massive love for the musical Hamilton (if I run away to be with Lin Manuel Miranda don’t be mad at me), and my favourite band since I was 12 is Boys Like Girls (who I finally managed to see live after waiting FIFTEEN YEARS!!).

I’m a massive goff at heart despite my rainbow exterior, and I have had the pleasure of meeting and gaining many clients from my local club The Cathouse.

I have three silly goofy Romanian rescue dogs - Dolly, Bryan and Marvin - as well as two ducks - Daisy and Pipsqueak - who I am always sharing stories about whilst I work on blinging people’s smiles.

I have so many exciting ideas on the horizon, and I can’t wait to take you on this little journey with me, and show you all the wonderful things to come!

Hope to see you soon!!
